Zena von Zermatt is a gorgeous 2 year old German Shepherd. She is a good sized girl and once she fills out she could be around 80-85 pounds. Zena has a beautiful thick coat. Zena is housebroken and crate trained.  She loves to play ball but needs to learn how to let go of the ball!  She is terrific on the leash and receives many compliments on her beauty and calm nature on walks. She greets everyone she meets with little kisses and a wagging tail. She showered a vet with kisses when she went in for a check up. She loved the 14 year old son in her foster home. She met all his friends and they were all instant buddies. She does have a strong prey drive and does not tolerate caged pets at all ( pet bird), but she will keep your yard free of all lizards, squirrels, etc and she takes her job very seriously.  She is a terrific watchdog and usually only barks an alert so she does not bark inappropriately.  She could get along well with another young active dog that is moderate on the alpha scale.  She respects a confident dog, like herself. Zena tries very hard to please. She loves to go anywhere and everywhere with you in the car, so don’t forget she makes a great companion when you have errands to do or a trip to take!
